How Ledgr Hub uses AI

Ledgr Hub uses AI for one job: reading documents so nobody has to retype them.

What is read

• Receipt and invoice images and PDFs: supplier, date, total, VAT and the supplier's VAT number.
• Scanned bank statements (when no CSV/OFX or text PDF is available): dates, descriptions and amounts.

Where it runs

Text PDFs are read in your own browser. Images are sent to an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI, inside the same Cloudflare account that stores your data. Documents are not used to train AI models and are not shared with anyone else. On iPhone, the app first reads the receipt on the device with Apple's built-in text recognition to fill the form straight away.

Limits

• AI can misread blurred, folded or handwritten receipts. Every result can be corrected, and corrected values are what is used.
• Each business has a monthly allowance of automatically read pages; CSV, OFX and QIF statements are unlimited because they don't need AI.
• AI never decides anything about a person and never files anything.
